FAQ: Did Dub Dugas play with the Original 50's Boogie Kings?

Dub provided this response:  I was never a member of the Boogie Kings.  When the Boogie Kings split up, some of the original ones joined our Band, the "Swing Kings".  In the early 90's, musicians from several bands (including the Swing Kings) were inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame as "Boogie Kings".  Their first goal was to label each one according to the "band" that they played with, but after gaining knowledge of the real world, they realized that most musicians had played with several bands.  Therefore, they gave up and decided to induct all these (including myself) as "Boogie Kings".

Pelican Footnote:  Yes, Dub plans to play with the "Original 50's Boogie Kings" that afternoon as he has for the past six years.
