Ollie Bordelon Redmon

Funeral services for Ollie Redmon will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 17,
2008 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Mickalchuk
officiating. Burial will follow in t he Pythian Mausoleum. Arrangements are
under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Redmon, age 89, of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Redmon; a son, Carl Redmon; a grandson, Chad Redmon; her parents, Dickens and Odelia Ducote Bordelon; nine brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie and his wife Jan Redmon of Bunkie; a
daughter, Martha Saylor and her husband Larry of Hilton Head, South
Carolina; one brother, Barlin "Toss" Bordelon of Baton Rouge; four sisters,
Lela Aymond, Mable Aymond, Pearl Normand all of Bunkie, and Dorothy Sehon of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; three great- great - grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. until 10:15
a.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A WakeService will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
