Services for Jerry Bernard Rabalais, age 70, of Cottonport will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 at St Marys Assumption Catholic Church with Rusty Rabalais and Fr. "Raj" officiating. Burial will be in St Mary Assumption # 2 under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.

Mr. Rabalais passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Rabalais; mother, Lois Hughes Rabalais; wife Elaine McDonald Rabalais; son, Clifton Rabalais; daughters, Mary Rabalais and Theresa Rabalais.

He is survived by his son, Darren Rabalais and wife Matthea of Marksville; brothers, Clinton Rabalais, Ronnie Rabalais and Steve Rabalais, all of Cottonport; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport Sunday, September 6, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with wake service at 7 p.m., and will reopen Monday, September 7, 2009 at 9 a.m.
