Dennis Platt Quirk "Denny" Jr.

An operator with Air Liquide, he passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009. He was 36 and a resident of Prairieville. Memorial service will be held at Bayou Rouge Baptist Church, 133 Church St., Evergreen, on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. Survived by his beloved wife of six years, Joy Freeman Quirk; mother, Yvonne Self Quirk; three daughters whom he adored, Brittany, Bridgett and Makayla Quirk; and sister, Kelly Quirk Nickens. Preceded in death by his father, Dennis Quirk Sr.; and grandparents, Clothilide and William Boyd and Aileene Self.
