Cecil J. Lemoine Sr.

 A native of Cottonport and a resident of Baton Rouge, Cecil J. Lemoine Sr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Korean War and a retired representative of Magnolia Liquor. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon. Interment will follow in Green Oaks Memorial Park. He is survived by two daughters, Dean Elizabeth Lemoine and Mona Lemoine Clayton and husband Clarence; sons, Joel James Lemoine and Cecil J. Lemoine Jr.; sister, Amy Lemoine; brother, Wallace J. "Oudy" Lemoine and wife Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Roy Lemoine; parents, Hampton and Mona Lemoine; and brother, Hampton T. Lemoine Jr. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Annette Flowers, Shirley Flowers and Rita Turner, business associates, Walter Smith and Shuana Soper, and Hospice Care of Louisiana.
