Services for Robert "Bob" Joseph Belko, 71, of Cottonport will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church, Cottonport with Father Anthony Dharmaraj officiating. Burial will be St. Mary #2 cemetery under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home of Cottonport.

Bob was born October 2, 1937 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, he was resident of Cottonport. He died January 10, 2009 at his residence. He was retired from Cleco Corporation after 33 years of service. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph J. and Wanda Alicki Belko; sister Joan Belko Erickson; sons Robert Patrick Belko, Joseph Robert Belko, Paul J. Belko.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Ducote Belko of Cottonport; daughters Natalie Wanda Belko of Mandeville and Katherine Elizabeth and husband Charles Reid DeJean of Central LA; four grandchildren Lillian Sofia Mast, Geoffrey Mast Belko, Jonathan Reid DeJean and Joshua Robert DeJean; brother Joseph Patrick Belko of Lebanon, New Jersey and sister Arlene Belko Davis of Acworth, Georgia.

Visitation will be held at Escude' Funeral Home of Cottonport Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. Thursday until departing for services. A wake service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m.
