Betty Descant Gagnard

Funeral services for Betty Gagnard will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Michalchuk officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Gagnard, age 77, of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hurry P. Gagnard; her parents, Elster and Eva Cullen Descant; and her brother, E.J. Descant, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Gagnard Lemoine and her husband Ralph of Bunkie; and her grandchildren, Leslie Claire Lemoine and Adam Michael Lemoine.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote
