During this time she also enjoyed being a seamstress and taking care of animals, most of all, abandoned cats. She was always kind, caring, and generous about helping people in need. But of all the things she loved the most, it was cooking. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She also tailored her traditional recipes to a vegetarian version for her daughter. Her cooking can still be tasted today.

She is preceded in death by her; parents, Telisma and Edwina Ducote.

She is survived by her; daughter, Mickie Parr and Bob Parr of Alexandria; son, Michael Myers of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Toby Parr of Alexandria, Chenoa and Paul Currey of Liverpool, England; great - grandchild, Elayna Currey of Liverpool, England.

Pallbearers will include; Michael Myers, Toby Parr, Brenner Marshall, Robert Busher, Bob Parr, and Eric Marshall.

She was also a member of the Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Alexandria.

The Family would like to thank Cabrini Hospice and Dr. Kelly Letsinger.

Services and funeral arrangements are under the directions of Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura.
