'Assigned to the U. S. Naval Training Center, San Diego, California, is Martin "Sonny" Cox, a graduate of Evergreen High School, Evergreen.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Cox of DeQuincy, former residents of Bunkie'.
