I guess most of you have already heard that Duane Yates died today.  He had a heart attack earlier this week.

As you know, Duane played with the Boogie Kings for more than 30 years.  He was one of their premier vocalist.  As far as I'm concerned, Duane was one of the good guys.  He had a great sense of humor, and always seemed to be happy.  He was a great dad to his son, Marcome.  Marcome went with Duane to all of his gigs.  The music community has lost a great musician.
