Olympic Dreams: Move Over Shawn Johnson - Here Comes Caroline Grace

For
the past month, many sports fans have been watching the
29th Olympiad in Beijing, China. Shawn
Johnson, gymnastics gold metal winner, stated at her
closing ceremonies interview how watching the Olympics
as a child motivated her desire to become a
participant.
And so it is with some young
Pelicans. Caroline takes center stage with other
American youngsters who are enjoying gymnastics and,
perhaps have some dreams of their own.
Caroline Grace Breedlove
participated in her first ever gymnastics meet on August
23, 2008 and scored big for her age group: 1st place,
floor routine; 1st place, bars; 2nd place, beam; 2nd
place, Overall.
Caroline is the eight year old daughter of Randy and
Melissa Descant Breedlove. Randy and Missy reside
in Montgomery, AL with their four children: Cameron
10 (5th Grader), Caroline 8 (3rd
Grader), Claire
6 (1st Grader), and Carson 2-months
(home-schooled for now). Randy is a Youth Minister at
Morningview Baptist Church and Missy is taking a break
from her position as an elementary teacher.
