Feedback from the Evergreen Lunch is that a good time was had by all who attended. The report is being prepared and, hopefully, will be the major part of the next Update.

3, Obituaries and News  have new entries. These are in chronological order for efficiency in locating and viewing. Did you all know that Ronnie and Dorrinne are grandparents again? See unique birth announcement in the News.
4. An awesome Military Page has been posted for Dale Ducote. Thank you Dale for including the link to your youtube video so viewers could enjoy the trip you and Al took to Washington, D.C. as part Louisiana Honor Air Flight.

Prayer Requests:
L.C. Riche’, Jr. who recently completed cancer treatment and has new challenges and Ivory Galland Riche’ who is home recovering from knee surgery after a six weeks hospital stay.

 

New announcement from Dub Dugas: The Old Boogie Kings will be playing a benefit for a Cancer patient who is a daughter-in-law of Mike Pollard. Mike has been a saxophone player in many bands including the Boogie Kings and Swing Kings. I went to school and played music with Mike for years. I do plan to be there. The location is LJ's Casino on Hwy1 between Marksville and Mansura. Sunday, Nov. 15 from 1-6 pm.
