March 21, 2010 Update

Dear Pelicans,

2010 Evergreen Reunion Planning Meeting – change in location – the 2:30 p.m. meeting on Saturday, March 27 has been moved to the Evergreen Fire Station (next door to the Town Hall – cross Bayou Rouge in heart of town - the Fire Station is on Cotton Street, one block away from Main Street).

To facilitate planning, please inform Mike or Kay of your plans to attend at Mike (Mike@EvergreenLa.org) and Kay (okk@bellsouth.net) and at (318)346-7572

OR Ed at Ed@EvergreenLa.org OR just come and participate.

The success of the reunion on May 15 is dependent upon interested persons coming together to share ideas and make suggestions. Thank you for attending.

Since the March 14, 2010 Update, the Civic League Page has been activated and their photo gallery established (also with a Pelican “Welcome” picture on the home page of www.EvergreenLa.org ).

There are new postings in the Churches Pages of Bayou Rouge Baptist and Little Flower. The History Page and Photo Gallery (four postings) of Little Flower have been activated. More information and pictures will be posted in the future as the design of the Churches Page continues.

Please contact Ed if you have information or pictures to offer on any of the church posted or on others which have not yet been posted. Your assistance is welcomed and appreciated.
