Vivian (Vee) Redmon Haakenson
(September 20, 1933 – November 17, 2014)
Vivian
(Vee) Redmon Haakenson, 81, of Deville, entered eternal rest at her residence in
the early morning of
Mrs. Haakenson was a native of Evergreen, LA. She was a loving mother,
grandmother and great grandmother, with a sense of humor, having a friendly
smile and word for everyone she met. She was a member of the LA bowling
community since 1960, a certified bowling instructor, coaching junior bowlers
for many years. She was a champion bowler winning bowler of the year and
sportsmanship awards. She was a member of the AWBA for 40 years, serving as an
AWBA delegate at state meeting, as well as on several committees at the local
and state levels. She was a member of
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bertha Redmon, her brothers
Teaka, T.J., Richard and Donnie; her grandson Jarad; her son-in-law Mark Bonine;
her brother-in-laws Harold, Kermit, Bob, Eilert, Art, and sister-in-law Esther;
along with other family members.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Arnold; her children Vicki
Bonine of Colorado Springs, Colorado, son, Ronald Haakenson (Linda) of Blossom,
Texas; her daughter, Vanessa Haakenson (Tim) of Woodland Park, Colorado; her
brothers, Milby Redmon of Evergreen, LA., Jerry Redmon of Houston, TX; her
sisters, Viola Cassard of Bunkie, LA, Myrtle Goldie of San Bernardino, CA; 5
grandchildren, Jason, Doug, Chelsea, Greg and Justin; 10 great grandchildren.
Along with life long friends, the King family of Deville.
Services will be held at Rush Funeral Home at 10 AM, Tuesday,
