Harold Richie

Harold Richie, 87 passed away October 6, 2015 at his residence in Prairieville , LA. He was born December 17, 1927 in Evergreen, LA. 
Mr. Richie was an Auto Body Mechanic at Duplessis Cadillac. Mr. Richie was a Navy Veteran of WWII, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Richie was a member of St Mark Catholic Church. 
Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Mrs. Betty M. Richie of Prairieville, La. 
2 sons- Randy Richie and spouse (Annette) of Pierre Part and Mike Riche of San Diego, CA 
Sister-in-law- Peggy Riche of Baker, LA
2 Grandchildren---Matthew Richie of Watson, LA. and Ashley Major and spouse (Derek) of Denham Springs , LA
1 Great Grandchild-Charli Richie of Watson , LA.  
Many nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Lenora (Descant) Riche
2 daughters-- Tammy and Cynthia
2 sisters Beverly LaBorde & spouse Bob LaBorde and Audrey Manuel. 
2 brothers L C Riche and Norris Riche & spouse Rita.

Pallbearers will be Barry Zito, Artie Hudson, Matt Richie, Jason Riche, Hoube Riche and George Braud
The family would like to express a special thanks to his personal care takers Laurie Scott, Lynda Hills and Ruby Varise.
Visitation will be from 8:45 am to 10:30am Friday, October 9th, 2015 at St Mark Catholic Church a Rosary at 9am, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Fr. Joseph Sanjay Kannasseril will officiate. Burial will follow at St. George Catholic Church Mausoleum in Baton Rouge , LA.
Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales is in charge of arrangements.
