Vivian Deselle Normand
A
Mass of Christian Burial for Vivian Normand will be held at
Mrs. Normand, age 71 of Evergreen, passed away on
Mrs. Normand is retired from the Avoyelles Parish School Board as a beloved bus
driver for many years. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower in
Evergreen, a member of the Altar Society and she taught catechism. She loved
reading, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Tennis, Sr. and Leola Gauthier Deselle;
sisters, Geneva Graham, Virginia Gobert, Delores Hazelton, and Linda Andrus;
brother, Richard P. Deselle; and grandchildren, Brandon A.R. Normand, Jerry
Mayeux and Judith V. Courville.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Lurry Normand of Evergreen; her
children, John “Allen” Landry and wife Brenda of Cottonport, Brent Joseph
Landry, Sr. and wife Melissa of Evergreen, Brenda Jo Courville of Port Barre,
Crystal Normand of Evergreen and Brandon Normand of Evergreen; step-children,
Sandra Armand, Gerald Normand and Kent Normand all of Evergreen and Bryan
Normand of Alexandria; 2 brothers, Tennis Deselle, Jr. of Ft. Worth and Russell
Deselle and wife Debra of Bunkie; 3 sisters, Judy Strother and husband Wayne,
Alice Leger and husband Lester and Marrianne Williber and husband Frankie all of
Bunkie; grandchildren, Logan Moore, Cheyenne Moore, Brittany Landry, Karli
Landry, Brent Landry I, Hollie Lynn Landry, Annie Mayeux, Emily Mayeux, Jacob
Mayeux, Caden Normand, Kelsey Normand, Kiley Faul, Mitzi Courville, Blake
Courville, Ciji Courville and Hunter Courville; and numerous
great-grandchildren.
