William "Bill" Daniel Wright

Services for William "Bill" Daniel Wright will be Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church in Evergreen with the Revs. William "Danny" Wright, III and David Trimbur officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mr. Bill, age 90, of Bunkie, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 at his residence. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death my his wife, Annie Dora Newman Wright; an infant daughter, Shirley Wright and a grandson, John Edward Wright, Jr.

Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Wright Dauzat of Beach City, TX; two sons, William "Dan" Daniel Wright, Jr. and wife, Gail, of Marksville and John Edward Wright and wife, Tara, of Batchelor, LA; nine grandchildren, Allison Dauzat Frank, Brandon Dauzat, Emily Dauzat, Teresa Wright Bertolini, Emily Vead, Heather Wright, William "Danny" Wright, III , Olivia Lynn Wright and Hunter Grant Daigle and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 9 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
