Funeral services for Mr. Willie Slaughter, 82, of Goudeau will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 18, 2013 at the Antioch Baptist Church in Goudeau. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Slaughter died June 12, 2013 at his residence in Goudeau. He was preceded in death by his parents Horace and Alice Slaughter. He is survived by his wife Susan “Sue” Slaughter of Goudeau; children, Kathleen Slaughter, Karen Slaughter Green, Thaddeus “Bucky” Slaughter, and Melbina “Beenie” Ware; Brother, Herman and his wife Velma Slaughter and his sister Willie Mae Goudeau. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, from 8:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Escude Funeral Home of Mansura in charge of arrangements.
