Rudy Lacombe, Sr., age 77, of Cottonport
Funeral services for Rudy Lacombe, Sr. of Cottonport will take
place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday,
June 7, 2011, beginning at 11 a.m. with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating.
Visitations will be held at the Escudé Funeral Home of Cottonport, prior to the
funeral service, beginning at 8 a.m. Burial services will commence at the St.
Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Rudy Lacombe, Sr., age 77, passed away at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home of
Bunkie on Sunday, June 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamley
and Odelia Galland Lacombe; and one sister, Mary Ellen Lacombe.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce St. Romain Lacombe of Cottonport; two sons,
Rudy Lacombe, Jr. and wife Karen of Cottonport; and Randy Lacombe and wife
Annette of Cottonport; two daughters, Karen and husband Bobby Gisclair of
Cottonport, and Patty Scallan of Cottonport; two sisters, Jo Ann Goudeau of
Pineville, and Joyce Price of Pineville. He is also survived by twelve
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the funeral service will include; Brandon Gisclair, Joey
Lacombe, Luke Bordelon, Micah Bordelon, John Lacour and Madison Bernard as the
cross bearer.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
