Raymond Lee Smith, Sr.

Funeral services for Raymond Smith were at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 8 2010 at the Bayou Jacques Pentecostal Church with the Rev. John Holloway officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Mr. Smith, age 48, of Goudeau, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Emily Faye Smith. Survivors include his parents; Johnnie and Rose Smith of Goudeau; one son, Raymond Lee Smith, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Simmesport; three daughters, Tabatha Renee Smith of St. Amant, Leah Rebecca Kestle of Walker, and Natasha Rae Smith of Walker; two brothers, Johnnie Smith, Jr. of Conroe, TX, and David Smith of Denham Springs; a sister, Cheryl Kaye Smith Mitchell of Head of Island, LA; and his two grandchildren, Loralee and Reese.
