Noamie Rabalais Clopton, 80, beloved wife and mother and long time resident of Evergreen, succumbed in death after an arduous illness on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Grace Home Hospice in Alexandria.

Noamie was preceded in death just ten short weeks ago by her life-long sweetheart and husband of sixty years, Clarence L. Clopton. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Moise and Annie Bamber Rabalais; her sisters, Laura Hattre, Pearl Firmin, Ethel Stark , and Edola Firmin; her brothers, Henry Pierce, and Frank Rabelais; her daughter, Sharon Clopton Montalbano, and her grandson, Brandon Clopton.
