A Mass of Christian Burial for Mable Gremillion Aymond will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Burial will folllow in the church cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Aymond, age 89, of the Bayhills, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in Valley View Nursing Home, Marksville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Aymond; parents, John and Josephine Gremillion, Sr.; five brothers, Landis Gremillion, Clinton Gremillion, Dallas Gremillion, John Gremillion, Jr. and George Gremillion; three sisters, Adelle Desoto, Odelle Armand and Namie Bordelon. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Marshall of Hessmer and Virginia Shelton of English, IN; two brothers, Morris Gremillion of Pasadena, TX and Roy Gremillion of Mansura; two sisters, Theresa Gremillion and Ann Rachel both of Bunkie; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 4 pm - 9 pm with a Christian Wake service at 6 pm and on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 8 am until 9:15 am.
