Mabel Marie Chenevert Stockwell A resident
of Baton Rouge and a native of Cottonport, she passed away Saturday, Oct. 21,
2006, at St. Clare Manor. She was 83. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home
East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday Oct. 25, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St., on Thursday at
10 a.m. She is survived by her special friends, Marie Wilkinson Jackson and
Debra Theriot; and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Henry D. Stockwell Jr.; and her parents, Alcee and Edwina Chenevert.
Her love was gardening. She was a special and very generous person in that
she volunteered 20,000 hours during a period of 40 years at Our Lady of the
Lake Regional Medical Center. Special thanks to the employees and staffs of
St. Clare Manor, Ollie Steele Burden Manor and Our Lady of the Lake for their
kindness and service, which went above and beyond the call of duty. |
