Robert Wayne Lemoine

Graveside services for Robert Wayne Lemoine will be Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bayou Rouge Cemetery with Rev. David Trimbur officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mr. Lemoine, age 62, of Prairieville and a native of Cottonport, passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at Grace Home Inpatient Hospice in Alexandria. Robert served in the National Guard and his life's work was with the US Postal Service, managing the computers in the sorting department. He was schooled and trained in Norman, OK.  He will be remembered as a generous man.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan R. Lemoine; his father, James A. Lemoine, and his baby brother, Joel Lemoine.

He is survived by his mother, Nannie Haydel Lemoine of Cottonport; his brother, Mark W. Lemoine and wife, Linda, of Bunkie; uncle, E. Wayne Haydel and wife, Janice, of Michigan; step-son, Nathan Poose and wife, Johnna, of Prairieville; step-daughter, Chrystal Poche and husband, Reggie, of Prairieville; two nephews, Michael Tuminello of Bunkie and Logan Lemoine of Chenneyville; two nieces, Noel Meikle of New Jersey and Jennifer Lemoine of New Orleans and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
