Funeral services for Mr. Maison Armand will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery #2 on Indian Bayou Rd. in Cottonport. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Armand, age 77, of the Bay Hills Community, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. He was born May 20, 1934 in Cottonport. He served his country as a naval officer during the Korean War from 1954-1956.

He is survived by three sons, James Armand of Marksville, Joey Armand and Andrew Armand both of Mansura; two daughters, Mary Ann Armand of Marksville and Charlotte Armand of Bunkie; two brothers, Annisten (J.C.) Armand of Cottonport and Neilson (Nookie) Armand of Cottonport; and seven grandchildren.

Vistitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers of Marksville from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday until shortly before time of service.
